The purpose of this study was to identify the barriers perceived in online learning by the Nursing students and faculty members of Far Eastern University – Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation, a tertiary school in Quezon City. The study used cross-sectional research design to collate and compare different perceived barriers in online learning. The data were gathered online using an adapted survey questionnaire entitled “Identifying Barriers of E-learning Implementation” (2016, June) by M.Sc. students in Agricultural Faculty of Islamic Azad University, Ilam Branch. The weighted mean, percentage or frequency formula, and t-test were used to calculate the data. Individual sample t-tests were used to look for the highest in rank and differences between barriers. The findings show that the Nursing students have a perceived barrier in human skills with an average score of 1.70, while the Nursing faculty has a perceived barrier in human skills with an average score of 3.18. Overall, the Nursing students and faculty have perceived barriers in Human skills in online learning. The study revealed that there is a significant difference between barriers perceived by nursing faculty and students in online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic at a Tertiary School in Quezon City. With the purpose of obtaining the recommended outcomes of the data collected, this study used a survey questionnaire that was subsequently modified to fit in inside the current study.
