Objective: This study investigated the sexual and reproductive empowerment levels of medical students at Far Eastern University – Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation, recognizing the importance of this aspect for future healthcare professionals.

Methods: Employing a descriptive, cross-sectional design with non-probability convenience sampling, 102 medical students completed the validated Sexual and Reproductive Empowerment Scale (SRES). Data analysis involved descriptive statistics, including frequencies, means, percentages and standard deviations.
Results: The majority of participants (90.38%) demonstrated a high level of sexual and reproductive empowerment, with a smaller group (9.62%) showing a medium level; no students exhibited low empowerment. The comfort talking with a partner subscale yielded the highest mean score, while a sense of future had the lowest.

Conclusion: The study indicates a generally high level of sexual and reproductive empowerment among the medical students, although areas like sense of future and sexual safety warrant further attention in educational interventions aimed at enhancing their overall empowerment as future healthcare providers.
